On Thursday, June 9th Columbus Park Preparatory Academy hosted its Art and Gargoyle Show.

This program co-planned with the art teacher, Amie Nemis and STARS Grant artist in residence, Susan Fisher, showcased the creative accomplishments of that the students K-6 made during the art classes and through MA Cultural Council STARS Grant study. Students in grades K-6 learned about gargoyles and had the opportunity to draw, write and sculpt their own creation.  There were over 450 gargoyles on display! This is the second year in a row CPPA has had the opportunity to have an artist in residence work with our students through the STARS Grant.
